Miss Qureshi 2013
Miss Qureshi completed her undergraduate studies at Buffalo State College in Art Education. Some of the classes she took were centered on Digital Art, which includes photography, image alteration in Photoshop, building digital environments, creating websites, and capturing/editing film.
One of the films that your teacher completed in college was a 7 minute documentary capturing the culture of Islamic America.

Hello!
First I would like to say that I am thrilled to teach you about Video Production this semester. Capturing film, no matter which device you use, can be both difficult at times and exciting. My goal for you, my student, is not only to teach you how to make quality films, but also to understand and appreciate the technical and artistic components that go into making a film successful! To make you feel a little more acquainted with your teacher, I'd like to tell you about my background in filmography so that you know you are in good hands.
Background
Miss Qureshi also studied Media Literacy, which is the ability to understand the messages that the media is transmitting to you, artistically, symbollically, and truthfully. One project she completed was making a film that humorously addresses stereotypes that the media dramatizes.
